We are delighted to inform our wonderful Murray Farm community that our P&C held the referendum BBQ stall on Saturday, 14th October, and it was a resounding success!
In total, we raised $1388.2! With costs at $639.55, we’ve seen an excellent return for our school. We also sold around 70 cans of soft drink and 15 bottles of water from Cracker Carnival left-over stock.
We are deeply grateful to the 18 volunteers who ensured the smooth running of the stall. It’s noteworthy to mention that out of these, 12 were current or past students of Murray Farm Public School. Their commitment was beyond serving; they played pivotal roles in budgeting, planning, setting prices, newsletters, creating posters, handling cash duties, and overseeing both the setup and pack up of the stall. We are immensely proud of them for taking the leading role during the entire activity.
Special commendations to our star students:
Bella Z, Morrie H, and Raina Z from Year 4.
Nia Z and Oscar S from Year 5.
Andy W, Daniel W, Lachlan W and Moshi H from Year 6.
Darin Z, Junmo Z, and Ryan Z from year 7.
Furthermore, a big thank-you to all the parents and community members who turned up to support us by dropping by and purchasing an item. We deeply appreciate your kindness, encouragement, and patience. Your generous spirit uplifted the children, and the children has been very much encouraged and can not wait for next time.
Thank you once again to our incredible Murray Farm community for making this event a success. Your continuous support helps us thrive!
