We are excited to announce the launch of our Volunteer Reward Program, designed to encourage more parents to participate in school events and activities. While the rewards themselves are modest, we believe that the true value lies in fostering a sense of joy and pride within our community, as we work together to make our school a better place for everyone.
Donation to School Library - $8,000
The P&C Committee recognizes the importance of fostering a love for reading and developing essential skills among our students. As such, we will donate $8,000 to the school library to be used for purchasing books, magazines, and other necessary materials to facilitate the students’ reading program. As new and interesting books are continually coming to the market, we plan to allocate the budget in a way that allows the library to claim under that budget for various batches until the end of term 4 2023.
The librarian and school teachers will be responsible for determining the specific purchase list, ensuring that the resources provided align with the students’ needs and interests. This donation aims to support our students’ growth in reading skills and other related competencies, ultimately contributing to their overall education.
Our upcoming garden project is a hands-on, student-friendly initiative designed to create a vibrant and functional green space.
This initiative, aimed at providing aid to distressed families within our school community who may be facing sudden adversities such as fires, floods, diseases, or other unforeseen calamities. A detailed document outlining the scope of this initiative, along with guidelines on how to apply, the approval process, and other pertinent information is available.
We are looking for a unique logo that represents our school and the P&C. The logo should encapsulate the essence of our school spirit and the P&C's commitment to supporting our students, our school, and our community. Click on the title for the final winners.
Our P&C meetings now feature multi-language support, capable of translating our communications into several languages like Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, and Hindi. This initiative is designed to aid parents whose English proficiency may be limited, enhancing their understanding of our work, the school, and the wider community. By improving transparency, we aim to encourage greater participation from parents and guardians in our school events.
