Volunteer Reward Program

Volunteer Reward Program

We are excited to announce the launch of our Volunteer Reward Program, designed to encourage more parents to participate in school events and activities. While the rewards themselves are modest, we believe that the true value lies in fostering a sense of joy and pride within our community, as we work together to make our school a better place for everyone.

Here’s how the program will work:

  1. Register as a volunteer: To become a volunteer at our school, keep an eye on the Parent Committee Newsletter and School Newsletter, which are published every week. We’re in the process of developing a website to integrate all volunteer information in one convenient hub, making it even easier for you to sign up.
  2. Attend on your scheduled date and time: Once you’ve signed up for an event or activity, show up at the designated date and time.
  3. Receive rewards from the coordinator: The coordinator, who is responsible for organizing the activity you’re assisting with, will ask you to sign the check-in sheet and provide you with your rewards.
  4. Share the joy and pride: Pass the volunteer voucher on to your children or their friends, so they can enjoy a refreshing ice tube during hot days!

Stay tuned for more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities and details on the rewards available through the program. Together, we can make our school a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone!

  • Volunteers who contribute over 3 hours casually will receive a voucher that allows children to redeem an ice block at the canteen.
  • Both committee members and class parents are eligible to receive one voucher per term.
  • Committee Coordinators will be given the vouchers for the volunteers of his/her team by PC
  • Coordinators will then hand out vouchers and compile a list of recipients for submission.
  • The canteen will accept vouchers from children and submit them to the PC for reimbursement.
  • PC will pay back the canteen by the canteen sale price on the menu. The vouchers will then be recycled and reused.
  • The allocated budget for this initiative is $2000, lasting until December 2023.

Exclusions apply for those volunteering at the Cracker Carnival since they will be taken care of separately.
